I’m a girl that likes to plan and pack it all in at one time. It will be interesting to see how I manage when life does slow down, but until then I’m happy going full-throttle. So up on the agenda next…

My birthday party & bachelorette party weekend is swiftly approaching and I’m too thrilled to see my girls. I’m looking forward to real fun and high-class times with a pinch of sexy. That’s next weekend so stay tuned for the pictures.

I decided I’m going to set my sights on the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon on September 26th. This means training should start about May 24th and last 18 long weeks. I really would like to see myself through this one. All parts are feeling in good shape, I’ve lost two pounds (really shocking actually) and I’m a bit more focused. It also helps that the neighborhood is perfect for distance running. I picked this race because my friend Sara lives in Toronto and it’d be real nice to see her and also because of the timing. I need to complete something before I go off to Africa. I don’t think I’ll be able to keep my training on track while I’m over there. I’ll try to post some updates here, but you’re better off finding them in my twitter feed.

Did I mention I’m getting married next month? Yeah. Although I’m in cruise control everyone persists on asking if I’m nervous and everything under the sun about prep and planning. Considering we’re headed west and have no real guests attending, I’m very much relaxed on everything. I’m just ready to go!

Excited to say I got my tickets for Ethiopia and Zanzibar! Woot woot! I am looking forward to visiting both later on this year, but I’ll be keeping a watchful eye on the upcoming elections. Let’s pray they go over well.
