I’ve made my way back from Ethiopia and London. I cut Dubai completely out of the picture for this moment in time so that I could come back and fight fraud like a ninja on crack. Yes, someone got me for my goods or cash flow while in Africa, but all is well and corrected and so no worries here. I am still on London time though (meaning I am dead tired) and after editing some number of photos from the thousands in my possession I bring you this small preview. Forget about descriptive paragraphs right now and focus on the pictures. They tell a million words anyway, right? Something like that…
In this batch you’ll find portrait shots or candids of the many Ethiopians that crossed my path along with some random tourist style flicks of myself. There are many more where these came from and diverse too. The people of Ethiopia are warm and simply amazing. Dynamic, spirited and quite generous when offering their home, a plate or a helping hand – if there had to be only reason for a future return it would be the people.

All photos taken by Adrienne C. Wilson with the exception of the following: Adrienne in monastery (J. Seson), Adrienne with three Ethiopian women (I. Williams), Adrienne with mortar mix (J. Kheel), Adrienne at Yellow Store (I. Williams), Adrienne with chika hands (I. Williams). All photos copyright of Adrienne C. Wilson except where credit is stated otherwise. The photos are beautiful. Ethiopians are beautiful people, inside and out, my Ethiopian son is reflected in the smiles and the gorgeous eyes of the Ethiopians you photographed.
