Thanks for your comment. Glad you swung by. I am not from your beloved St. Lucia as you can see, but I am longing for a trip back or to a tiny island in the Carib somewhere.

So… I played mas in TnT and I jumped in a band and did jouvert and everything… How does St. Lucia’s compare? I really enjoyed the experience in TnT and while I love trying new things I don’t want to ruin the memory with a Carnival that may not be as good….

Can St. Lucia bring it?

WOW!! I am impressed with the work you did on your vacation to St. Lucia. I share the same sentiments as Mr Neil. (we grew up together) I am so homesick right now I going to start planning my next trip. You need to try going for Carnival nothing will compare to it and if you do you need to join a band. That’s the only thing I can think of that will top your last visit to St. Lucia.

Roseann – I haven’t quite mastered that relaxing on the beach for consecutive days thing yet…:) I just have to be on the move. The people are lovely there and I hope to make as many trips back as you have! Thanks for reading and sharing.

What a great article. I have been to St. Lucia 5 times in the last 5 years. I haven’t done half the things you did in one visit.
Of course I am a little older than you and am married, but my husband has never come with me. I wish I was your age. The reason I keep going back? Plain and simple, its the people. I always go to Windjammer Landings. I just love it there.
Its more family oriented.
Well, great job. Hope your life is always this great and adventureous.

I enjoyed your article. I would not be afraid to trave alone now to an island based on your article. The fact that you took in many excursions was better than laying on the beach. I loved the horses riding into the water photos. The food and plant photos were great also. Don’t give up on D. R. it is waiting for you….Peace
