Something went wrong on my long run today. Everything felt good and right including my iPod + Nike sport kit until mile 4. Suddenly the darn thing stopped tracking my pace correctly. I know getting back out there for the first time isn’t going to produce times to impress anyone with, but I knew there was no way I could be running a 15 minute mile with some change stacked on top. After I came back and hooked everything up to Nike online to track my results it calculated my pace at 15 minutes moving upward and that I just have to reject. I ran for 2 hours and 5 minutes and it only showed 8.12 miles. That is wrong, wrong, wrong… I know it. I’m going to have to try to figure this one out tomorrow on my cross-training day. I’m thinking I did around 11 miles today when I was only supposed to do 9. I’m just glad I felt great during all of it…
