
The land of brokeback or something I guess…
After a very long day of driving (14 hours from Omaha, NE to Jackson, WY) – Richard and I finally made it into Jackson, Wyoming. Can we say “womped!” Boy, am I tired. Richard took the first shift which got us out of Nebraska (nothing really to see along the road and couldn’t stop in Hastings because of time). I took the later shift which involved some crazy, scary night time driving. Ugh! It always stinks when you are in new, cold, snowy, and mountainous places. There wasn’t any real snow falling, but the flurries were a bit worrisome to me though. Snow – what’s that?
Anywho, heading out tomorrow to check out some more of America’s famed National Parks – should be fun if it isn’t too, too cold. Regardless – it should be fun, because that’s how I roll.
Oh, and the photo above was taken a week back when we took a short detour to get a photo of the sign. This is one of my best Brokeback Mountain impressions. Not too hot – eh, but what do I know about being a….
