After eating Joseph’s fiery carne avovada burrito which translates to spiced chunks of pork in slimey green chile sauce yesterday, my stomach was under a massive insurgent attack. Considering I spent the whole night attached to the john having the frosted mini wheats this morning probably wasn’t the best idea, but I wanted them. Perhaps, I enjoy volcanic type eruptions in my tummy. I think not.
As of right now I’m sitting in the Steps Across van on my way into Belen, New Mexico. We just scooped up Doug and Sally Leland from their 20 mile walk and have about a hour plus drive to our next hotel. Chances are I’ll be stuck there for the rest of the evening as well. I’m going to kill Ken!!! Grrrr…. All I wanted was Subway and he talked me into that Mex food.
Aside from stomach troubles last night I was having several others. First being the cable television wasn’t working because of the awful New Mexico weather last night. I didn’t get the chance to see who was eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance. Boo-Hoo. Second, I had a tremendous amount on my mind. The best thing for me to do last night was just lay down and stare at the wall. I’ll have to tune you in on that later – the ride is getting too bumpy now. Oh and I just got an email from Nats on Dushanbe so I’m excited, but my stomach can’t take that now either…. Eeek!
